Case Opened
The world of cross-border payments is full of bias, with entire markets deemed "too risky" long before a transaction even begins. Behind most of these decisions sits an enormous asymmetry of information: incomplete data, outdated systems, and layers of manual due diligence that leave many global transactions dead on arrival.
Klearium came to Sleuth as they prepared to introduce a solution designed to change that — a digital platform that would vet and validate every aspect of a cross-border transaction in real-time, removing the blind spots that fuel so much friction in global trade. But building the technology was only half the challenge. What they needed was a narrative powerful enough to shift entrenched mindsets, and a brand system strong enough to carry it.

Field Investigation
Untangling the narrative meant going deeper than just the product. We spoke to the founders, their clients, market participants, and conducted a full-scale competitive audit to map out the broader global payments landscape. The more we uncovered, the more we realised this wasn’t simply a B2B SaaS product but rather a system-level intervention.
The "aha moment" came in recognising that while large banks would serve as the platform’s licensing customers, the true impact extended far beyond them, to the businesses finally able to trade, to the regulators seeking transparency, and to entire communities whose economies depended on smoother payment flows.
The narrative couldn’t just speak to risk mitigation. It had to articulate an ecosystem of unlocked opportunity.
That clarity allowed us to shift the frame: Klearium isn’t simply reducing risk, it’s enabling trust at scale. And in doing so, helping global financial flows expand into markets long left behind.

To reframe Klearium’s story, we had to first dismantle the category it was entering. On the surface, cross-border payments seemed like yet another compliance play, but beneath it sat a deeper issue of systemic exclusion. Through interviews with the Klearium team, banks, regulators, and market participants, we mapped out where trust was failing and why.
The problem wasn’t just missing data; it was fractured trust. Entire countries were being written off because correspondent banks lacked a full, coherent picture to make informed decisions. What Klearium offered was a single, holistic file that could allow banks to say “yes” confidently and consistently.
We shaped a narrative DNA that positioned Klearium as the system-level enabler of responsible financial inclusion.





Selling their story.
With the narrative unlocked, we built a brand system designed to sell confidence at every touchpoint. From a full visual identity through to website, sales decks, and investment materials, every element carried the same core message: Klearium is allowing banks around the world to transact with confidence.
The messaging was designed to work across audiences: correspondent banks needed compliance-grade depth; regulators needed transparency; businesses needed new market access. We equipped Klearium with sales and marketing collateral that could flex across boardrooms, due diligence teams, and commercial partnerships, while keeping the same narrative spine running through it all.




Case Closed
We delivered a full narrative architecture that positioned Klearium as a category-defining player in cross-border financial validation. From there, we built out the complete system: Narrative DNA, sales and marketing decks, investor presentations, full visual brand identity, website design and copy, sales collateral, and ongoing content materials.
